Wool from Swaledale Sheep naturally contains coloured fibres.  These fibres give this wool its attractive fleck effect.

This worsted spun British Wool is ideal for knitting sweaters.

Being worsted spun means that the yarn is smooth so gives excellent stitch definition

The wool is from sheep that graze in the Yorkshire Dales and on the moors of Britain, it is not soft but is hard wearing.  We do not advise knitting into garments designed to be worn next to the skin.

Hand dyeing this yarn gives a range of subtle mixture effects.
